SURF completes first phase of the network of the future

SURF in the Netherlands is working on the ongoing development of the SURFnet network as part of its SURFnet8 project. The migration of the new optical layer is now complete. The migration of the service layer is due to commence at the start of 2019. This will mark the second phase of the project. We expect this migration to be completed in 2021.
