The West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) will hold the second edition of the LIBSENSE Community Call on Wednesday July 29, 2020.
Previously scheduled as a side event in the now cancelled WACREN 2020 conference, this first of four online meetings took place on June 24 and focused on the audit of needs and tools: needs assessment for open access scholarly publishing in Africa, Open source tools and services for publishing books, journals and textbooks as well as training and support needs.
This second meeting will focus on identifying areas for collaborations around shared free and open source open access publishing infrastructure.
The Call, scheduled fro 09:00am to 10:30am on WACREN Zoom, is expected to convene a wide array of participants including librarians, researchers, editors and especially too builders.
