- Dr Marguerite Nyhan is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Engineering & Future Sustainability at University College Cork (an HEAnet client) and a Funded Investigator in MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Climate, Energy and Marine.
- Lincoln Alves is a researcher from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), a research unit of the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology.

Research and Education Networks are vital to scientific research across numerous disciplines and importantly are unconstrained by geographic borders. This allows the fast, secure, and seamless exchange of data and information that underpins research and its application.
The session, to be held on Saturday 6 November and which will be live-streamed and free to access, aims to convey this to the global COP26 audience.
