The GÉANT community is made up of individuals and teams working together for the benefit of research and education to improve the working life of scientists and researchers around the globe. Single presentations at TNC are often the outcome of this work and their content breathes life into our flagship conference generating discussions, exchanges and collaborations.
With two weeks to the Call for Proposals deadline for Single Presentations and Workshops we are keen to remind you about the opportunity to help shape the programme of TNC23.
We know that you are busy, but don’t let these two weeks pass you by!
TNC23 will be hosted by RASH, the Albanian Research and Education Network, and will take place in Tirana, Albania from 5-9 June 2023.
Digital Generations
If you are looking for inspiration for your talk, our theme for TNC23 is Digital Generations. We often hear the term ‘digital natives’ to describe a person who has grown up in the information age, but we are all living in that age – we are all the Digital Generations. Tirana, awarded the European Youth Capital for 2022, is the perfect juxtaposition of these generations with a vibrant community of students and young workers. Serving all digital generations is a challenge that NRENs must face, from building innovative educational experiences to supporting advanced research projects that have spanned decades. Our conference in Tirana will be the perfect opportunity to reflect on how we engage digital generations and to reflect on how we are integrating future generations into our own organisations and infrastructure.

TNC welcomes presentations from anyone with a story that is relevant to the NREN community. We particularly encourage first time presenters and junior staff to contribute and join us in Tirana.
