Did you know that the TNC23 conference programme features two full days dedicated to workshops? All workshops are organised by the international GÉANT community on various thematic areas: from network orchestration and e-health to NREN communications and will also include a Security and a Mobility Day. The workshops will take place on Monday 5 June and Friday 9 June in different locations and their duration will vary. Here’s an overview of TNC23 workshop programme and a brief summary of the themes that they will cover.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend any of these workshops you will need to purchase a side meeting pass, in addition to your regular TNC pass. More information is available on the Register page.

JOINING NRENs’ FORCES AND SPENDING POWER TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
What impact do R&E Networks have on the environment? Can our joint efforts towards a greener and more sustainable R&E ecosystem generate positive change and help reduce the environmental impact of the whole community? Could we even persuade (larger) commercial vendors to really make a difference by using our collective spending power? This interactive workshop follows on from the initiative launched in 2022 to establish a ‘Procurement in the GÉANT Community’ platform. Additionally it will present an occasion for RENs to share best practices, findings and initiatives in different areas related to sustainability.
