Social Events
The organisers have all been hard at work to ensure that this year’s programme makes of TNC23 another memorable conference, if you join us in Tirana, we hope you will make the most of this year’s riveting social events.
Tuesday 6 June
Morning Run – A gentle 5km run will take place in the green spaces of the Grand Park of Tirana and include some stretches along the shore of Tirana’s artificial lake.
Tuesday 6 June
Kick-off Party – Join our open air party at Murat Toptani the popular stone-paved and tree-lined street in the very heart of Tirana and at the Cloud a monumental art installation accessible from Murat Toptani.
Wednesday 7 June
Conference dinner – Dinner at a farm restaurant located in the village of Vishaj in a small oasis in the middle of the Erzen River valley, just a few kilometres from Tirana. Al fresco dining, tasting fresh local produce and traditional Albanian cuisine with a stunning view of the valley.
Let’s talk about Tirana!
Blessed with a subtropical Mediterranean climate, the welcoming, young and vibrant capital of Albania is also the country’s cultural, entertainment and political centre. We hope you will find the time to visit its museums, monuments and parks and enjoy the view of its unique residential buildings painted in rainbow colours. We can’t wait to feel and enjoy the vibe of Tirana!
TNC23 Online platform
If you can’t join us in Tirana it doesn’t mean that you will miss out on the conference, remote participation will be possible via a simple online platform which will offer live streaming of all sessions and recordings (available two hours later), on-demand content and dedicated chat rooms. Personalised access to this platform will be made available to all registered participants (in presence and remote participation) few days before the event. The platform will be open from Tuesday 6 June 9.00 CEST through to Thursday 8 June 17.30 CEST. After the conference all recordings will be published on the TNC23 website.
