A brand new Security Operation Centre for Jisc

World events and the rise of cyber threats to global critical infrastructure, combined with the increasing awareness and growing number of security-related incidents are stimulating the demand for enhanced cybersecurity measures. The increasing complexity of R&E networks and product sets require more specialist skills. In response, several NRENs around the globe and connected institutions are coupling their established Network Operation Centre (NOC) with a Security Operation Centre (SOC). Jisc is one of them.

In the context of our Cybersecurity Month campaign 2024, we are delighted to share the news about the forthcoming launch of their Security Operation Centre.

As cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, Jisc is taking a proactive stance to help their members navigate the challenges of protecting their valuable assets, to protect what matters.
