Cybersecurity Month may be over, but our cybersecurity activities and initiatives continue all year round. Here are a few important reminders for you.
Security Days 2025 – Securing What Matters
Now that you’ve saved the date for annual security conference (because you have saved it, right?), let me highlight the theme of this year’s event. It emphasises the essential task of safeguarding our most critical assets. Our aim is to encourage everyone to recognise and prioritise what needs protection while advocating for a comprehensive approach to security.
The Call for Proposals will open on December 1, and registration will begin on January 6, so please stay tuned for updates.
As you start planning your submissions, here’s an overview of the topics we aim to address in the programme:
- Ethics in Security
- Usability and Security
- Hands-On Security
- Security Leadership
- Securing the Network
Cybersecurity Newsletter for Academia

Security Awareness
Visit our security awareness page to learn more about our initiatives and take an active role in the security awareness community by joining our mailing list. We recently held our first online workshop featuring keynotes and practical exercises on social engineering, which saw enthusiastic and active participation from all attendees, including a significant contingent from Asia.
