A very successful Network Performance and Monitoring Workshop took place in Prague on 1st and 2nd of April. 20 participants on site and 5 remote learned how to build perfSONAR based Grafana dashboards, explore the Lookup Service data, take advantage of the powerful pScheduler CLI and sketch a plan to solve complex network performance issues end to end. All that while using the PMP infrastructure as tool and example.
The CESNET event team provided us with a great location to host the workshop, right before the SIG-NOC meeting, and with perfect city views. If you fear you missed out, all presentation materials are now available on the events page for you to review: https://events.geant.org/event/1846/
During this same event, the 20th perfSONAR collaboration anniversary was celebrated by doing a small recap of the past history and also by adding a 20 years sticker on the Lennon Wall. Continuously wanting to grow the community, the development team has started collecting perfSONAR user experience to display on a dedicated 20 years map: https://stats.perfsonar.net All of you are most welcome to contribute by filling up a simple form that will add you to the map.
Thank you to all workshop presenters and to CESNET for hosting us. And to all perfSONAR users to be part of our network performance measurement community. We hope we’ll see you again at a PMP or perfSONAR related event soon!
The perfSONAR developers GÉANT team.
