Are you an active member within the Trust and Identity (T&I) community (such as REFEDS, AARC, FIM4R and/or activity in the T&I workpackage of GN5-2)? The GÉANT Community Committee (GCC) are looking for one more member with T&I experience to join them!
What are the duties of a GCC member?
As a GCC member, you will support the GÉANT Community Programme (GCP) to ensure we continue to maintain a thriving community for years to come, and all relevant subjects are covered within the community. Furthermore, the GCC is a linking pin between the community and the General Assembly (GA) of GÉANT, which means being able to raise challenges signalled by the community to the GA or vice versa.
The GCC holds the following annual meetings:
- Two in-person meetings with GCC members
- One in-person meeting with the GCC members and representatives of each SIG and TF in the GCP
- A minimum of two online meetings in between
Timeline and process of GCC member appointments
