The Special Interest Group on Cloud Interoperable Software Stacks (SIG-CISS) will meet in Tecnopolo, Bologna on 3-4 December 2025.
This joint workshop is co-organised by GÉANT, INFN, and ICSC. It will provide participants with the opportunity to present and discuss Storage Federations and Large Storage Infrastructures, with a specific focus on EOSC related projects and initiatives.
This is an in person workshop, however remote participation is available.
Call for Proposals
The call for abstract for presentations is open until 31 October which welcomes presentations on the following topics:
- Storage solutions and federations in EOSC-related project proposals
- AAI integration with storage services and resources; mapping of global federated users to local resources
- Data access protocols and technologies to handle sensitive data
- Workflow modelling and management, possibly covering AI-enabled solutions
- Data access and data management at the Edge
- Scalability metrics measured over distributed federated sites, large volumes of data, heterogeneous hardware, software and protocols
- Impact of federated storage solutions and their integration with public or private wide area networks
- Sync and Share storage services and their integration across different domains
