Join the third SIG-TFN meeting on 24-25 June 2026

You can now register for the third meeting of the Special Interest Group on Time and Frequency Network (SIG-TFN), which will take place on 24-25 June 2026 at the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Brussels. This two half-day event will bring together experts from across Europe to discuss the evolving landscape of Time and Frequency distribution networks.

The meeting will aim to:

  • Present the latest updates from the GÉANT C-TFN implementation, which will connect France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Poland during 2026/2027.
  • Discuss the pan-European timing network and explore the interoperability between the member states / NRENs / NMIs and the possibility of commercial use while maintaining existing obligations and use cases.
  • Showcase at least one national time distribution network.
  • Allow for lots of interaction between attendees.

Participants will include NRENs, NMIs and other organisations from Member States, industry representatives from sectors using PNT, EURAMET, GÉANT and the European Commission.
