Hosted by CSC – IT Center for Science, TNC26 will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from 8-12 June 2026. Throughout the week, you can look forward to a busy programme filled with insightful sessions, energetic Lightning Talks, and plenty of opportunities to connect at the Social Events that make TNC such a memorable experience.
Connect in person at TNC26’s Social Events
The TNC26 Opening Reception will take place at the Music Hall, which is the main venue for TNC26, on Tuesday 9 June 17:30 – 19:00, immediately after the last parallel session of the day. This is your first chance to socialise with other delegates, meet the speakers and engage with our exhibitors.
Following this, you can then join us for the Kick-Off Party at club Maxine, located in central Helsinki. What better way to start the event than catching up with friends and colleagues, or dancing the night away!
The conference dinner will be held on Wednesday 10 June 19:00 – 22:30 at Wanha Satama, a historic harbour building dating back to the 1890s and used for imported goods with over a century of stories in its brick walls.
Located by the sea in Helsinki’s Katajanokka district, the venue’s strong industrial architecture reflects the building tradition of its time. The building functioned for a long time as a customs warehouse, through which various commodities, such as coffee and spices, passed to the inhabitants of the then Grand Duchy of Finland. Today, the venue hosts plenty of business, arts, music and food festivals, including the iconic Finnish salmiakki candy.

Regular Passes are available until 5 June 2026 (midnight CEST). Please note that to attend side meetings you need a separate ‘Side Meeting Pass’. If you’d like to bring a guest to one of the Social Events, you can purchase a pass for them.
Joining remotely? No problem.
All conference sessions and plenaries will be livestreamed free of charge on the TNC26 website during the event days. There will be no online pass, registration, or access code needed; simply visit the website and be part of the action from wherever you are.
