RENATA, Colombia’s national research and education network, has provisioned the technological infrastructure of Colombia’s first public software development centre of SENA, a learning space for optimal software development in Popayan city.
The National Learning Service (SENA) is the main centre for social and technical development of Colombian workers. SENA offers professional training for the incorporation of people into productive activities that contribute to the social, economic and technological development of the country.
“The inauguration of the Popayán Software Development Center is very important for RENATA, as it is part of the innovative model of science and technology that the national government is developing to strengthen the ICT skills and abilities of our human talent in Colombia”, said Leonardo Rodríguez López, CEO of RENATA.
