GÉANT and Spanish NREN RedIRIS are saddened to announce the loss of RedIRIS Director Tomás de Miguel, who sadly passed away on 23 July in Madrid. Tomás was a highly respected, influential and well-liked figure in European research and education networking, and our condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
