GARR, the Italian research and education network, offers 10 scholarships for study and research projects in memory of Orio Carlini, one of the founders of the Italian network. The duration of each scholarship is 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Applications should be submitted through GARR website by Friday 30, March 2018.
These scholarships are worth € 19.000 each and can be awarded for study and research projects of young graduate and undergraduate students aged 30 years or less. These projects are to be carried out at GARR headquarters in Rome or in one of the connected institutions of the Italian research and education community.
The study and research projects are to be focused on the application of innovative technologies for the development of digital infrastructures and their services in multidisciplinary contexts.
For evaluation purposes, the originality, innovation and short-term applicability of the proposed projects will be considered rewarding elements.
Mandatory requirements:
- Date of birth after 1 January 1988.
- The applicant should hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from an Italian university or equivalent.
- Excellent level of Italian and good level of English, written and spoken.
