At the General Assembly (GA) meeting held Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November in Amsterdam, members voted to renew the terms of three members of the GÉANT Board of Directors.
The GA is GÉANT’s highest governing body, in which representatives of member organisations meet at least three times a year and is responsible for electing members to the GÉANT Board of Directors.
- Chairman of the Board Christian Grimm, who has served in this role since 2015, has been re-elected for a period of two years. Christian is Chief Executive Officer of the German NREN DFN.
- Valter Nordh, who has served as a Board member since 2015, has been re-elected for a period of three years. Valter is Chief Technology Officer of the Swedish NREN SUNET.
- Paul Feldman, who has served as a Board member since 2017, has been re-elected for a period of three years. Paul is Chief Executive Officer of UK NREN Jisc.
The GÉANT CONNECT magazine has a regular feature, Voice of the Board, in which Board members are interviewed in turn. You can read interviews with Christian Grimm and Valter Nordh. We hope to feature Paul Feldman soon.
