The EllaLink network incorporates real-time scientific monitoring though the EllaLink GeoLab created in partnership with EMACOM and GÉANT. EllaLink GeoLab aims to provide the scientific community with real-time, accurate and relevant data on seabed conditions along the EllaLink cable route.
EllaLink will be the world’s first commercial telecoms system to incorporate SMART cable concepts, and the EllaLink GeoLab will offer a truly unique way to collect and share data relating to seismology, marine ecology and oceanic conditions.
