The GÉANT Innovation Programme presents the 2021 awarded projects during virtual showcase: 3 March 2022

The first edition of the GÉANT Innovation Programme was launched in February 2021 and concluded with allocating a total of EUR300k to ten projects.

The Programme has proven to be a unique opportunity to enable initial development, establish a proof of concept or testing ideas coming from the GÉANT Community with a significant scientific or societal and economic impact and create benefit for that same community.

Who are the winners from 2021?

The awarded projects are based in Hungary, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and UK and the topics stretch from multimedia, networks, trust & identity, and education to clouds, security and privacy. A detailed list of the projects and their objective is provided on the Community website.

The projects will have a chance to demonstrate their results and achievements during the virtual showcase, and the demonstrations will be followed by a Q&A session. The event will run from 14:00 to 17:00 (CET). The agenda can be found on the dedicated wiki page.
