The OCRE project has published a new success story showcasing how cloud supercomputing resources provided via OCRE project funding allowed a research group at the University of Bath to predict new 2D materials and identify valuable properties of recently discovered 2D semiconductor materials.
Thanks to the flexibility provided by the OCRE cloud-funded solution, researchers have been able to optimise the requirements of their experiments, making calculations more efficient and improving turnaround time. This also allowed students to be actively involved in research activities, making substantial scientific contributions and receiving faster and improved critical training.
