Institutional Research Data Management (RDM) Services Workshop – SURF Offices, Utrecht – 16 January 2023

Research data management

GÉANT is collaborating with SURF to run a workshop on institutional Research Data Management (RDM) services on 16 January 2023 in Utrecht. The workshop will bring together representatives from Dutch Universities, University Medical Centres and Applied Science institutes to explore their current data service provision and how this could be improved by more collective action at a national level.

Presentations will cover CRIS systems, cloud services, data repositories, procurement frameworks and more. The aim is to investigate what research support and tools are in place at each institution and how these could be acquired to deliver an integrated set of research data services. The community will be engaged in discussion to explore their needs and how these can be better supported.

The workshop runs for half a day (10:00-15:00 CET) and includes lunch. It will take place at SURF offices at Kantoren Hoog Overborch (Hoog Catharijne) 3511 EP Utrecht, Moreelsepark 48.

We’re calling all librarians, IT staff, data stewards and research administrators to take part and help us explore how we can support institutional data services better at a national level.

We look forward to seeing you on 16 January!
