The Work Package WP8 for security within GN5-1 announces one of its first workshops within the latest iteration of the GÉANT Project. The one-day event will be hosted by Jisc in London on 24 January 2023 and will focus on DDoS detection, protection and network management.
During the workshop, which is aimed at technical specialists, participants will have the opportunity to share the latest insights and experiences in the detection of DDoS attacks, on how to defend from this type of cyber crime, will also evaluate and take into consideration the effects of network upgrades.
The workshop will be mostly in person, a small section of the event might include remote participation, but this will be confirmed nearer the event date.
The preliminary agenda includes discussions on DDoS threats and developments as experienced by different NRENs, shared best practice, intelligence, playbooks and more. More details will be added to the programme in the new year, so keep an eye on this page and book your place today!
