New learning unit in the Network Automation e-Academy: Kubernetes

Network Automation Network Automation e-Academy kubernetes

The Network Automation eAcademy has a new learning unit in its virtualisation/container-based section: Kubernetes.

Kubernetes is a popular open-source container orchestration tool for automating the deployment and scaling of applications which can be made up of many containers, and which can run in different environments, such as bare-metal machines, virtual machines, cloud, or hybrid environments. In this course, you will learn about its architecture, networking principles, main components and objects (pods, services, secrets, deployments) and how clusters are created and configured. A hands-on lab section will help you to understand how Kubernetes works.

You can follow the unit here (login required): https://e-academy.geant.org/moodle/course/view.php?id=297

Course duration: 2 hours

Trainer: Estela Carmona – i2CAT Foundation / RedIRIS

You can find updated information about the training in the OAV Training Portal. And remember that you have an open window to the trainers and experts in the Network Automation eAcademy, with one hour for questions & answers and also for feedback and training requests on the first Tuesday of every month. Just drop an email to the Network Automation team at oav@lists.geant.org or network-eacademy@lists.geant.org to receive the link to join the room.
