The GÉANT Network eAcademy has a new learning unit available in its Automation Tools section: Python.
Python is an object-oriented programming language with a simple syntax that makes it very easy to read and learn, and it supports GUI programming via editors. One of the benefits of using Python is that there is a large community behind it and a standard library that provides a wide range of modules and packages, which encourages program modularity and code reuse. This makes it very popular for network automation and monitoring, data science and machine learning.
In this unit, you will learn how to program using Python, why it is useful and how it can be used.
You can follow the unit here (login required): https://e-academy.geant.org/moodle/course/view.php?id=117
Course duration: 90 minutes
Trainer: Iacovos Ioannou – CyNet
