During the last month of frantic preparations for TNC23, we would like to bring to your attention some of the new initiatives surrounding our annual flagship conference, tell you about the return of the #Road2TNC and share a couple of useful reminders.
We are back on the #Road2TNC
One of our most successful – if we can say so – TNC social media campaigns comes back for TNC23: it’s the #Road2TNC. Since its launch in 2018, even some of the most reluctant social media users in our international community, not only took active part, but started exploring the medium, producing and sharing engaging content with an ever growing number of followers. Would you like to know how to join the conversation? It’s simple!
- Take a picture of your journey from wherever in the world your travels start to reach Tirana.
- Film your pet sitting in your suitcase trying to disrupt your departure.
- Take selfies with colleagues you are travelling with or have met by chance along the way.
How to post?
- Take a photo or record a short video with your smartphone.
- Post it on your social media account.
- Tag @TNC_GÉANT (Twitter) and the GÉANT account on other socials
- Use the 2 hashtags #road2TNC #tnc23.
The Community Hub
New at TNC23, the Community Hub is an informal collaborative space where conference participants can discuss, share ideas, brainstorm and exchange information. It will be busy, buzzing and hectic and remember the one and only rule: participation must be open. What does the Community Hub Include? A demo area, a round table and a message board. How to book the space? Advertise your event on the message board. How to promote an event? You can be as creative as you like. When is the community hub open? From 6 to 8 June at 10.30 – 11.00, 12.30 – 14.00, 15.30 – 16.00.
TNC23 Online Platform
Also this year remote participation will be possible via a simple online platform which will offer live streaming of all sessions and recordings (available two hours later), on-demand content and dedicated chat rooms. Access to this platform will be made available to all registered participants (in presence and remote participation) very soon, so look out for more direct communications from us. In the meanwhile, please register for your FREE online pass today.
Workshop participation
We would like to remind all workshop participants on 5 and 9 June that you will need a Side Meeting Pass to attend these workshops. Please make sure you buy your pass today to avoid misunderstandings and delays on the day. The price of the pass helps to cover logistics and catering costs. Buy your pass here.
If you haven’t yet registered to attend TNC23, why procrastinate? Register today.
