CLAW, the annual crisis management workshop for the international R&E community, already in its seventh year, will take place on  5 – 6 December 2023 hosted by PSNC in Poznan, Poland. Once again our Polish partner will welcome participants in their modern premises and will make their high-tech, state of the art equipment available for the annual event’s piece de resistance, the very much awaited crisis simulation exercise.

I wonder how many surprises, new tricks and gimmicks CLAW organisers have in store for us this year.

If you work for an NREN and are keen to gain some basic crisis management skills in a collaborative and friendly environment and in a simulation context, CLAW is the perfect event for you! Representatives from Communications, NOC, CSIRT and Information Security Management are all welcome to join our event to work together on crisis management issues while safely experiencing one of the best simulation exercises of a crisis situation for our community. Seeing is believing!

The programme will almost certainly include an example (or two) of real life experience of a large scale crisis event plus targeted expert advice from professionals from various areas of crisis management and business continuity, security and more.
