After another successful year of the GÉANT Innovation Programme, it is time to showcase the research projects from 2023 who were successful with their applications and received funding to support their goals.
The GÉANT Innovation Programme
The GÉANT Innovation Programme is aimed at driving and funding grassroots innovation across a wide range of topics within the GÉANT community, with lightweight administration. The 2023 successful applicants included entries from Serbia, UK, Sweden, Ireland, Norway and Italy, covering a range of topics including e-Health, networking, cloud services, security, blockchain, and Trust and Identity.
How does the showcase work?
The showcase will be held virtually on 20 February, 2024 from 13:00 – 16:00 (CET). After a short introduction, the ten projects will each present a plenary lighting talk initially. Following this, there will be various break-out rooms in which the projects will each get the opportunity to present and/or demonstrate their achievements so far. There will also be the chance for questions and discussions. Participants are free to move to different break-out rooms throughout the event.

Call for Proposals are still open for 2024!
The Call for Proposals for the 2024 GÉANT Innovation Programme are still open, but close 14 February 2024. The amount of funding has increased for 2024, meaning successful projects will each receive EUR50k!
