The 20th SIG-NOC meeting will take place in Helsinki, Finland on the 7-8 May, kindly hosted by CSC/FUNET.
The first day will discuss Data Lakes in Data Centres operations, Monitoring Object-Storage Services, Fibre sensing technologies and trials, and boundaries between SOCs and NOCs. In the evening there will be a private visit to the Elisa Telephone Museum, followed by the event’s dinner. Day 2 will focus on Monitoring, NOC life, and on the impact of the NIS2 Directive for network operations and NOCs. Before the day comes to an end, there will be an evaluation which will involve deciding on future meeting topics. The meeting will close with lunch at “The Plate” (Life Science Center Keilaniemi’s own restaurant).
