The GÉANT Annual Report 2023 is published today, 10 June 2024, following approval at the General Assembly (GA) meeting held in Rennes, at the start of TNC24 week.
This was the year that the EU’s Digital Decade and the Global Gateway went from general planning to the implementation phase, contributing to what was a busy but successful period for GÉANT and its members.
The next generation of the GÉANT project, GN5-1, began in January; the SUBMERSE project started in May; we proudly announced the signature of an investment grant for the MEDUSA Submarine Cable Project in November; and in December GÉANT was named in two of the three lots of the public procurement tender results for “Managed Services for the EOSC Platform”.
