The chosen theme underscores UbuntuNet Alliance’s commitment to exploring how emerging technologies can elevate the quality, reach, and impact of research and education pursuits in the UbuntuNet community and beyond.
By focusing on topics such as advancing network infrastructures, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, and high-performance computing (HPC), participants will have the opportunity to explore how these technologies can empower research and education initiatives. Discussions will encompass the potential of AI, HPC, cloud computing, and advanced networking infrastructures to enhance the quality and impact of research and education within the UbuntuNet community.
While celebrating the potential of technological advances, UbuntuNet-Connect 2024 will also provide a platform to address challenges and concerns associated with the adoption and integration of these technologies into research and education practices. The conference is scheduled for 31 October and 1 November 2024, in the vibrant capital city of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam at the beautiful White Sands Hotel and Conference Center.
