But that’s not all! We’d also like to remind you that the call for proposals for presentations (25 minutes) and lightning talks (5 minutes) is still open. Kickstart your new year by submitting a proposal for Security Days 2025! This conference needs your ideas, your experience, your expertise and your creativity to be memorable and impactful.

Securing What Matters
This year’s theme, Securing What Matters, emphasises the critical task of protecting our most vital assets. It encourages a focus on identifying and safeguarding what truly needs protection, promoting a holistic approach to security that ensures the resilience of our environment.
Proposed Topics
- Ethics in Security: Ensuring the services and approaches we use are ethical, designed to support users and meet societal goals such as green security initiatives.
- Usability and Security: Ensuring that we maintain an excellent user experience that is supported and enhanced by security.
- Hands on Security: Exploring the practical aspects of how we delivery our security services, tools and support.
- Security Leadership: Focus on the strategic aspects of security management, including developing a security culture within organisations, leading security teams and making informed decisions to mitigate risks.
- Securing the Network: Address the technical measures and best practices for protecting network infrastructure. Highlight the importance of continuous monitoring, regular update and incident response planning to maintain network integrity and protect against cyber threats.
When and where?
Security Days 2025, the second edition of GÉANT’s security conference, will take place in Prague at the centrally-located Hotel Grandior on 8-10 April 2025.
