Do you want to lead a Work Package in the next phase of the highly successful GÉANT Project?
The long-running and transformative GÉANT Project has supported Europe’s research and education communities for nearly 30 years. The current project, GN5-2, is the second in a series of projects foreseen under GN5-FPA, the 72-month strategic framework that outlines the overall direction, objectives, and impacts of individual projects within that timeframe as part of Horizon Europe – the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation.
With planning underway for the proposed successor project, GN5-3, which will start in July 2027, the GÉANT Project Planning Committee is now inviting applications for GN5-3 Work Package Leaders (WPLs) for the following Work Packages:
- WP4 GÉANT Operational Commons
- WP5 Network Operations and Innovation
- WP6 Cyber Security
- WP7 Trust, Identity and Collaboration
- WP8 Advanced Services and Integration Platforms
Applicants must be currently employed by a GN5-2 project partner. If you are interested, please contact pmo@geant.org quoting the WP set out above. Deadline for applications is 13 February 2026.
