The Network eAcademy is publishing a new learning unit in the Decoupling and Integration track of GÉANT’s Network Automation eAcademy: “TOSCA – Service Modelling and Automation.”
This course provides a clear and practical introduction to TOSCA (Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications), an open standard used to describe, automate, and manage services across diverse environments. Learners are guided through the fundamentals of service modelling, from understanding how TOSCA captures application structure through nodes, relationships, properties, and requirements, to how it defines operational behaviour using interfaces, workflows, policies, and artefacts.
By the end of the unit, participants will understand how TOSCA enables decoupled service design, promotes interoperability, and makes complex services easier to automate, manage, and deploy across different platforms.

And don’t miss the chance to join our monthly open meetings. On the first Tuesday of every month, trainers and experts in the Network eAcademy are available during one-hour calls to answer all your questions and collect your feedback and training requests. Simply contact the Network Automation team at network-eacademy@lists.geant.org to receive the link to join the session.
