New learning unit for Time & Frequency Networks in the Network eAcademy “Experiences with Setting up a White Rabbit Network”

“Experiences with Setting up a White Rabbit Network”

This new learning unit provides a practical and basic how-to of setting up, configuring and monitoring a white rabbit network through examples from a real-life deployment with three white rabbit switches. The course covers topics ranging from an example of a commercial white rabbit switch and network setup to white rabbit switch configuration, monitoring and provides an understanding of the synchronisation status and timing values.

Before taking this course it is recommended to have a basic understanding of the white rabbit protocol. Please refer to CERN’s “Introduction to White Rabbit”.
