The 1st nmaas User Workshop will take place on 20–21 October 2026 in Athens, Greece, hosted by GRNET. The workshop is organised by the GÉANT GN5-2 project, Work Package 6, by the nmaas team working within Task 2.
nmaas is an open-source, general-purpose application orchestrator that enables users to deploy, manage, and operate applications in a multi-tenant cloud environment. It can support a wide range of use cases, including network management and monitoring, and has been offered as a production service to the GÉANT community for several years.
The event will bring together nmaas users, adopters, and stakeholders to share practical experiences, present use cases and deployment scenarios, and discuss future platform developments. It will provide an opportunity to exchange lessons learned, collect feedback from the community, and strengthen collaboration around the nmaas platform.
Participants are encouraged to attend in person to support direct discussions and networking within the nmaas community. Remote participation will also be possible for those unable to travel. For participants employed within the GÉANT project, travel costs may be claimed from the project budget, subject to confirmed participation and applicable eligibility rules.
