The Board of Directors of RENATA appointed Luz Miriam Díaz Patigño as the new CEO of the national research and education network of Colombia.
For the new CEO, “RENATA is much more than its advanced network infrastructure” because “it is the only network in Colombia that allows interconnection to the more than 16,900 academic and scientific institutions connected to the global academic network. The opportunities offered by RENATA for science, education and innovation in the country are invaluable”.
“In the short term, our goal is to interact with a lot of dynamism with the scientific communities of the world through RedCLARA, recover the first place in Open Access in Latin America and connect the leading institutions of our National Science, Technology and Innovation System,” she said.
