RENATA, the national research and education network of Colombia, presented the results of the implementation of the project “BGP security in the RENATA infrastructure” in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) 100 meeting that took place in Singapore in November.
“The project presented by RENATA is the first in the world to consider the implementation of validation of origin at the level of a National Research and Education Network (NREN)”, said Érika Vega, RENATA Infrastructure Coordinator.
