On 8 December 2017 GÉANT will relocate its Amsterdam office from the city centre location at Singel to Amsterdam-Zuidoost, Bijlmer. For our growing Amsterdam based staff we have found a modern, open space located right opposite the Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA train station. This new location offers greatly improved transport connections to Schiphol airport and very convenient hotel space nearby.
A team of Amsterdam and Cambridge staff have worked together over the last few months redesigning the layout of the space, creating the new working environments, installing fibre and ensuring the connectivity to SURFnet.
Celebrating not just the new office, but the history of GÉANT as well as its parent organisations, TERENA and DANTE, our in-house design team created a large-scale timeline poster which sets out our key milestones and greets visitors to our new office.
