The vision about the challenges and opportunities that Colombia has in relation with the national research and education network was presented to more than a thousand members of the academic community by RENATA during its re-launch event in Bogota on 24 January, with the company and support of Government representatives and leaders of the networks of research and education in Latin America (RedCLARA) and Europe (GÉANT).
Cathrin Stöver, Chief Collaboration Officer of GÉANT, Luis Eliécer Cadenas, CEO of RedCLARA, Luis Núñez, Professor of the Industrial University of Santander, UIS, David Luna Sánchez, ICT Minister, Alejandro Olaya, Director of Colciencias, Juanita Rodríguez, Vice Minister of Digital Economy, Magda Méndez, Director of Quality of Higher Education of the Ministry of National Education, and Andrea Escobar, director of the Semana Educación magazine, presented together, with Luz Miriam Díaz Patigño, CEO of RENATA, the advances of the national research network and education of Colombia.
