To think of disruption, we think of innovations that displace earlier technologies and take things to a new level – SDN is an “emerging” concept, highly dynamic, manageable, cost-effective and adaptable, therefore SDN is now being eclipsed by Software-Defined everything (SDx), and is now more than networking being transformed by software.
