September 2020 marks celebrations for the 20th anniversary of TF-CSIRT, the Task Force facilitating and improving the collaboration in the European community of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT).
And who is best to tell the story than those who lived it? To mark this special occasion, the TF-CSIRT reached out to some of the most notable members of the community, who have contributed to TF-CSIRT as we know it today and asked them to share their memories and visions for the future.
In the first in this series of interviews, former TF-CSIRT chair Baiba Kaskina, now General Manager of CERT.LV, goes all the way back to when she joined the community in 2003. Read it here and keep an eye on the TF-CSIRT website and Twitter channel for other stories from community members.
During this month of celebrations, the TF-CSIRT would love to hear from you on the theme of “What does TF-CSIRT mean to you?”. Let them know by sharing your memories and old pictures from TF-CSIRT’s past with the TF-CSIRT Secretary, and taking part in the competition for the best TF-CSIRT photo.
