WACREN, the West and Central African Research and Education Network, announced last week the bowing out of their Board Chair, Prof. Nii Narku, Quaynor and the coming of a new Chair, Dr Venant E.T.G Palanga.
We join the rest of the community in congratulating Prof. Quaynor for his valuable contribution to the growth of the regional REN and his positive impact on the wider African Research & Education community.
We also take this opportunity to send a warm welcome to Dr Palanga, CEO of TogoREN. He played an instrumental role for the connection Togo’s network to the WACREN backbone in 2019.
