Community News Community Programme

It is time for your topic to shine: propose an Infoshare!

This Call For Action is strictly reserved to members of the GÉANT Community.

Are you part of the GÉANT Community and are interested in presenting a solution or a project you are working on at an Infoshare? Then you are at the right place! Read on!

The GÉANT Partner Relations team is looking for projects, topics and solutions from the GÉANT Community to showcase virtually for a chance to enhance networking opportunities and bring their applications to the attention of a large audience of like-minded peers. If you think that your topic could benefit from a consultation/feedback session, or simply want to put it under the spotlight for 1.5h, we would like to hear from you!

What are Infoshares?

Coordinated by the GÉANT Partner Relations team, as part of the GÉANT Community Programme (GCP), Infoshares are a space for engagement, improved knowledge sharing, and open discussion about services and strategic topics, all to strengthen the human network across the Research and Education community. Public Infoshare sessions are virtual meetings that usually take place on Wednesday and they are open to everyone.

The past few months have seen an impressive variety of appointments, giving the Community an informative and exciting programme to attend to. You can check out the past programme and future appointments by visiting the new dedicated wiki page (requiring authentication).

How do you propose an Infoshare?

The programme is open for suggestions from the Community. You can propose future topics by contacting the partner relations team at partner-relations@geant.org, including the the following information regarding your event:

  • Who will attend/target audience?
  • Will your event be recorded? If yes, will the recording be public or private. Would you like to include Q&As in the published video?
  • What is the expected outcome?
  • Are there any other specific groups the information about your Infoshare should be sent to?
