The GÉANT NREN Twinning Programme aims to support information sharing and collaboration between NRENs. Launched as a pilot project during the two-year GÉANT (GN5-1) Project, and following a successful and beneficial experience for four NRENs who took part (MAREN and ASNET-AM, and RENU and Sikt) the Twinning Programme is now established permanently.
Administered through the new GÉANT (GN5-2) Project, the Twinning Programme is now delighted to announce the latest two twinning proposals:
LEARN and SURF will work to increase the uptake of their services among the LEARN constituency by applying SURF’s Life Cycle Portfolio Management Processes. LEARN and SURF aim to start in April 2025.
KENET and Jisc will address the issue of eduroam extensions for off-campus users, among other items. They aim to start in January 2025.
We’ll report on developments from both of these proposals during the coming year.
