As part of the digital cooperation between Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and Europe, the EU-funded SPIDER project, in collaboration with RedCLARA, has launched a Call for Ideas to promote use of the BELLA connectivity and drive digital transformation and collaboration between the two regions.
The call is seeking innovative proposals for collaborative projects and ventures leveraging BELLA connectivity, particularly in the areas of AI, cybersecurity, and for the sharing of digital resources between Latin America and the Caribbean and Europe.
The opportunity is open to individuals and teams from universities and academic organisations, SMEs and startups, research and innovation centres, large research infrastructures (Copernicus, SCALAC, supercomputing centres, etc.), collaborative and associative organisations, and government entities.
Selected proposals will get contact with investors and key players in the digital ecosystem, receive visibility and mentoring, and the opportunity to present their ideas at a final pitching event.
To submit your proposals, read the guidelines and apply by 4 April 2025.
