Editor's Welcome
Hello, and welcome to our new format CONNECT magazine!
As regular readers will know, for many years we have been producing the magazine as a PDF (and also printing the June TNC issue) and we hope you have enjoyed reading these as much as we enjoyed producing them. However, as the CONNECT website has become more and more popular (over 46,000 visitors last year) we’ve also been reproducing the magazine articles from the PDF onto this website as well, to ensure they reached as wide an audience as possible.
Editor's Welcome continued...
This has logically led us to move the magazine fully online, within its own section, so that magazine articles are more easily and efficiently published and promoted, and to make them easier to find and share. It also means we can more easily point readers to related content – in a range of formats including video and audio. We believe this new format will serve our community well and we will continue to evolve it. And don’t worry, we will still print the magazine for the June TNC issue.
In this edition, you’ll find the usual diverse mix of articles on topics including AI, the GÉANT Community Programme, the OCRE 2024 launch, a look ahead to Security Days and TNC25, and the first in a new mini-series looking at GÉANT’s 20 years of international engagement.
