What if you could yourself name a European Union space-based project that will bring high speed internet to European citizens and stronger cyber-security across Europe and beyond?
You are in luck! The European Commission is currently looking for your creative take on what the name of its new space-based secure connectivity system could be 🛰️.
The competition, held under the patronage of EU Commissioners Thierry Breton and Mariya Gabriel, invites students from the EU and African Union countries to suggest a name that captures the political ambitions of this new initiative, its objectives and its technological innovation. It is open until 31 July 🚀.
Be bold! Be Creative! The selected name will be the corporate and political trademark of the new space-based connectivity system, hence you can be proud of being part of an initiative bringing people and peoples together. Reach for the stars with this space-connectivity contest: this is your chance to take part in the European Union’s Space adventure. Just as we look up to the skies for a safer connectivity, we look forward to reading your ‘out- of- this- world’ ideas soon!
