The Community Hub at TNC23

New at TNC23, the Community Hub is an informal collaborative space where conference participants can discuss, share ideas, brainstorm and exchange information. An area of organised chaos – just imagine the vibe of Hyde Park Corner in London or any Stock Exchange around the world.  It will be busy, buzzing and hectic, but easy to access with one and only rule: all participations must be open.

What will happen at the Community Hub?

Informal demonstrations

At the Hub we will have 2 ‘demo stations’ ready for spontaneous demonstrations. Take the opportunity to demo your software or service to another conference attendee or small group. The demo station consists of one high table and power. No other AV equipment is provided: all you will need is your laptop.

Slots availability:
10.30 – 11.00
12.30 – 14.00
15.30 – 16.00

Round table

Do you have anything to discuss? Would you like to brainstorm with a small group of people? Did one of the talks inspire a new idea you would like to explore further?

The Community Hub has 3 round tables available for open discussions.

Slots availability:
10.30 – 11.00
12.30 – 14.00
15.30 – 16.00

Participation slots for informal demonstrations and round table will be available Tuesday 6 June, Wednesday 7 June and Thursday 8 June

Message Board

The message board is your place to advertise – whether it is a service, project, meeting or a get together. Feel free to bring along a flyer, a leaflet, even a small poster, post a note or add an idea to the board.

How to book the Community Hub?
Just enter your name, subject and time on the wipeable message board by the Hub and remember that it will be on a first come first served basis.

How to attract an audience?
We leave it up to you – post on social media, mention it in a session, rely on word of mouth, advertise on the message board, distribute your promotional material.

And there’s more, TNC23 also offers an ad-hoc meeting room
Do you need a more private space? One ad-hoc meeting room (at the Rogner Hotel across the road from the Palace of Congresses) will be available from the morning of Tuesday 6 June to the afternoon of Thursday 8 June. The room provides a boardroom setup that accommodates 10 participants maximum. The registration sheet for this meeting room will be managed at the GÉANT booth and remember that room booking will only be possible during conference hours.
