The GÉANT Tools Portal now has a refreshed look and feel, presenting access to BRIAN and the GÉANT Looking Glass for anyone to view traffic graphs and run diagnostic queries against the GÉANT backbone routers. NRENs also can use the portal to gain quick and easy access to additional sites such as the GÉANT Weathermap, Partner Portal and the trouble tickets portal.
Those NREN users with an account on GÉANT’s Tableau site can also make use of links to the Network Service Report (NSR) and additional service information and network statistics.
The new infrastructure is designed to be more flexible and easier to maintain, making it straight-forward to expand with extra services in the future, whilst also improving security and reliability
