The National Supercomputer Center Opens in Armenia: A Milestone for Research and Innovation

The National Supercomputer Center of Armenia (ANSCC), named after the renowned French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour, was inaugurated in Yerevan on 31 May 2024. This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant leap forward for Armenia’s scientific and technological landscape, with far-reaching implications for research, education and industry.

The project to establish the ANSCC is an initiative based on “public-private partnership” implemented with the support and cooperation  of the  Armenian Government, the World Bank, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA), the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of NAS RA, the Toulouse Institute of Computer Science Research, the University of Paul Sabatier, Atos – a French multinational information technology and consulting company – and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation.
